Why we joined the campaign
At Kenwood, we are passionate about cooking and baking and our purpose is both to encourage new bakers to have a go as well as helping competent and professional chefs to achieve the best dishes, whether for friends, family or the public.

Tips and advice:
- The folding action, as available on the kMix stand mixer, allows heavy ingredients to be combined with a light airy mixture, lifting the food up from around the sides of the bowl and dropping it back in from above. This action maintains the texture required to create dishes such as mousse, soufflé and macaroons.
- Chilling pastry in the fridge for 15 to 20mns is very important as it prevents it from being too warm and overworked which causes stickiness and tears when rolling out.
- Always use a large clean bowl when whisking to allow as much air as possible to be mixed with the ingredients and achieve a better result.
