Banana and Honey Cake

  • 2 x Bananas
  • 70g Brown sugar
  • 4 tsp Baking powder
  • 2 x Eggs
  • 4 tbs Honey
  • 2 tbs Rapeseed oil
  • 160g Wholemeal flour
  • 200g Plain flour
  • Food processor with main knife blade
  • Kenwood Chef Titanium or Major Titanium with Food Processor attachment
  • 22cm x 13cm loaf tin
  1. Grease the loaf tin.
  2. Attach the knife blade to the food processor.
  3. Add all the ingredients except the flour and baking powder to the bowl.
  4. Pulse until combined.
  5. Add the flour and baking powder to the bowl and pulse until combined.
  6. Place the mixture into the greased loaf tin.
  7. Bake for 40 to 45 minutes in an oven preheated to 160°C / Fan 140°C / Gas 3.
  8. Take the cake out of the oven and leave to stand for 10 minutes in the tin. Then turn out onto a cooling rack.
