Ruth Clemens aka The Pink Whisk, self-confessed Manic Mummy Baker Extraordinaire! An obsession with baking, not so much the cooking, cleaning, washing….
The Pink Whisk story starts back in 2010 when I was a contestant in the very first series of BBC2's The Great British Bake Off – and to my own disbelief came second, The Pink Whisk was born and the rest, as they say, is history! The website now has an amazing 5,000+ followers which is growing every day, I’m lucky enough to teach a variety of baking courses, in the process of writing my own book…I’m a very lucky girl.
The launch of The Pink Whisk has sparked a great new career for me, working on really great projects like National Baking which is all about inspiring everyone to get baking. The theme this year is Bake and Share – that’s what baking is all about whether is sharing with family, friends or even the office, a good bit of baking puts a smile on everyone’s face.
